Secluded hinterland acreage minutes from the coast Antara House sits in the lush, green valley of Matcham, one of the Central Coast's most exclusive and tranquil hinterland enclaves. Set among established gardens, towering trees and birdsong, it offers a real sense of privacy, space and escape from the everyday. Despite the peaceful semi-rural setting, the beaches of Terrigal, Wamberal and Avoca are all a short drive away, each with patrolled sand, surf and village dining. Erina Fair shopping centre and a wealth of cafés and restaurants are also close at hand, along with the wineries, orchards and country eateries of the...

The Space
Antara House is a beautifully restored white Queenslander styled by The Ancient Wellness Hunter, combining natural textures and vintage details with relaxed country living and coastal calm. Sun-drenched verandahs, lush gardens and mature shade trees create inviting places to slow down, while indoor and outdoor living spaces flow together across the private estate.

- A large upstairs living area with a reading nook, meditation corner and yoga studio
- A dedicated workspace, Wi-Fi, TV and sound system
- Air conditioning, heating and an indoor fireplace for year-round comfort
- A fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker and dining table
Outside, enjoy the resort-style pool and hot tub, outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, BBQ, outdoor dining area, sun loungers and fire pit. Wander the lemon, lime and mandarin orchard, or settle in for a long lunch on the verandah.
The separate self-contained guest house at the rear offers added privacy, with a queen bedroom, full bathroom, open-plan kitchen and lounge. It has its own laundry with washer and dryer, plus a dishwasher. The main residence has a dishwasher in its kitchen; the washer and dryer are located in the guest house laundry.

Neighborhood
Matcham is a prestigious, semi-rural pocket of the Central Coast, offering an exclusive "hinterland" experience just minutes from the shoreline. Characterized by its rolling green hills and expansive acreage estates, it is a neighborhood that prioritizes privacy, space, and a deep connection to nature.
The area is defined by its quiet, sun-drenched valleys and lush landscapes, providing a serene backdrop for those seeking a slower pace of life. While it offers a distinct sense of seclusion and "country-style" calm, Matcham remains remarkably close to the region’s best amenities, including boutique garden cafés, elite schools, and the high-end shopping and dining precincts of nearby Erina.
Homes in Matcham are typically grander in scale, often featuring resort-style facilities and beautifully landscaped grounds that attract families and those looking for a sophisticated rural retreat. Overall, the suburb offers a unique and luxury lifestyle, where the stillness of a private valley sanctuary meets the effortless convenience of the coast.
