Serene coastal sanctuary between surf and lagoon The Glass House is set in the relaxed beach community of Copacabana, between the rolling surf beach and the calm waters of Cockrone Lagoon. 'Copa' is one of the Central Coast's most naturally beautiful and laid-back pockets, where days drift by with swimming, surfing and lagoon paddleboarding. The patrolled beach is a local favourite, and scenic headland tracks lead south toward MacMasters Beach and north toward Avoca with sweeping ocean views. A small local shopping strip and a couple of welcoming cafés cover the essentials. The larger amenities of Avoca and Erina are a...

Highlights
The Glass House lives up to its name: bright, light-filled spaces, warm timber floors and windows that frame the Pacific from sunrise onwards. Holiday mode switches on the moment you arrive — this is coastal casual living designed for switching off.
Downstairs, a well-equipped chef's kitchen flows into open dining and living areas, with a gas fireplace that makes the cooler months genuinely special. Upstairs is the showstopper: a beautifully styled retreat lounge with cloud bean bags to sink into, a TV for movie nights, and a private balcony with coffee table and chairs where you can read, sip tea and watch for whales through the telescope provided — humpbacks migrate right past Copacabana from May to November.
Outside, a large entertaining deck with dining table and awning overlooks a generous lawned backyard (gently sloping — little legs will love rolling down it), with a BBQ ready for long lunches and beach chairs for lazy afternoons in the sun.
What We Love:
* Breathtaking panoramic ocean views from living areas, retreat and balconies.
* Telescope and binoculars for whale and bird watching (whale season: May–November).
* Gas fireplace for cosy winter escapes
*Two living zones — open-plan downstairs, retreat lounge upstairs — so families and groups can spread out.
* Chef's kitchen with quality appliances
* Large covered entertaining deck with BBQ and outdoor dining.
*Lock-up garage plus ample off-street parking

The Location
The Glass House sits in the heart of Copacabana, one of the Central Coast's best-kept secrets. It's a one-minute drive (or a ten-minute downhill stroll) to Copa's long golden beach, local shops, restaurants and a truly divine bakery for morning coffee and treats. You're nestled between Avoca Beach and Macmasters Beach, with Terrigal's dining scene 15 minutes away and Sydney roughly 90 minutes by car. Surf, swim, walk the coastal tracks — or just watch it all from the balcony.
Copacabana is a scenic coastal suburb on the Central Coast of New South Wales, known for its long, golden sandy beach and relaxed seaside village atmosphere. Popular with surfers, swimmers, and families, the beach offers a safe and picturesque environment for both recreation and relaxation.
The suburb features a quiet, community-oriented vibe with a mix of permanent homes, beachside cottages, and holiday rentals. While peaceful, it’s conveniently located near other coastal towns like Avoca Beach, Terrigal, and Wamberal, providing access to cafés, shops, and local amenities.
Surrounded by natural beauty, including nearby bushland and walking tracks, Copacabana is ideal for those seeking a laid-back coastal lifestyle with outdoor activities and a family-friendly environment.
