What We Love

The Views:

The Decks:
Two expansive covered decks — one on each level — give the group outdoor entertaining space for every time of day and every season. Long lunches on the upper deck with the coastline as a backdrop, evening drinks as the sun sets over the Pacific, morning coffees as North Avoca Beach comes to life below. The decks are where Glendalough's best moments happen.

The Grassed Yard:
A level, fully grassed yard overlooking the ocean is one of Glendalough's most genuinely rare features — flat outdoor space with an ocean outlook this close to the North Avoca ridge is almost impossible to find. Children can play safely while adults take in the view from the deck above. For families, this single feature is often the thing that closes the booking.

The Kitchen:

The Location:
Glendalough sits in one of North Avoca's most peaceful and sought-after residential streets — elevated, private, and positioned between two of the Central Coast's finest destinations. North Avoca Beach is a short stroll away, beloved for its quiet community atmosphere and clear water. Terrigal — with the Boardwalk, Esplanade dining, and The Haven headland — is minutes by car. Avoca Beach, the Picturehouse, and the village café strip are equally close in the other direction. Two great beaches, one ideal location.

Glendalough doesn't have an off-season — only a different kind of magic depending on when you arrive. Summer means long days on North Avoca Beach, deck lunches with the coastline shimmering below, and evenings of surround sound and ocean air.
